- The Atonement of Christ is the keystone gift, bringing justification and sanctification, including
- personal redemption (forgiveness, peace of conscience);
- relationship redemption (healing, forgiveness); and
- physical resurrection.
- God’s other gifts of grace, including the gifts of the Spirit, bring the endowment of grace to perfection, and recovery to fruition.
- Gifts of grace are conveyed through numerous spiritual exercises.
- Seek the Spirit for edification, strength, and striving.
- Pray without ceasing.
- Petition for spiritual sensitivity.
- Seek edification and sanctification through the word of God.
- Use fasting to subdue appetite and strengthen the power of the spirit over the body
